【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheenergyconsumptionandcookingperformanceoffloor-modelandcountertoppastacookers.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectapastacookerandunderstanditsenergyconsumptionandproductioncapacity.Thistestmethodisapplicabletofloorandcountertopmodelgasandelectricunitswith1000to4000-in.cookingcapacity.Cookingcapacityisameasurementofavailablecookingvolume.Thedepthofthecookingcapacityismeasuredfromtheheatingelementsorheattransfersurface,orboth,tothewaterfillline.Thewidthismeasuredfromtheinsideedgeofthecookingvat.Thelengthismeasuredfromthefrontinsideedgeofthecookingvattotherearinsideedgeofthecookingvat.Thepastacookercanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing(whereapplicable):Energyinputrate(11.2),Water-boilefficiency(11.3),Preheatenergyconsumption,time,andrate(11.4),Idle/simmer(11.5),Pilotenergyrate(11.6),andPastacookingpreparation(11.7).Thistestmethodisnotintendedtoanswerallperformancecriteriaintheevaluationandselectionofapastacooker.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
