【摘要】:Themostdirectandaccessiblemethodsforobtainingthecolorcoordinatesofceramicglazesandrelatedwhitewaresarebyinstrumentalmeasurementusingspectrophotometersorcolorimeterswitheitherhemisphericalorbidirectionalopticalmeasuringsystems.Thistestmethodprovidesproceduresforsuchmeasurementbyreflectancespectrophotometryusingahemisphericalopticalmeasuringsystem.Thistestmethodisespeciallysuitableformeasurementofthefollowingtypesofspecimensfortheindicateduses(SeePracticeE805.):5.2.1Alltypesofceramicglazeandrelatedwhitewarespecimenstoobtaindataforuseincomputercolorantformulation.5.2.2Ceramicglazeandrelatedwhitewarespecimensforcolorassessment.5.2.2.1Forthemeasurementofplane-surfacehigh-glossspecimens,thespecularcomponentshouldgenerallybeexcludedduringthemeasurement.5.2.2.2Forthemeasurementofplane-surfaceintermediate-gloss(satin)specimens,wherethefirst-surfacereflectioncomponentmaybedistributedoverawiderangeofangles,measurementmaybemadewiththespecularcomponentincluded,buttheresultingcolorcoordinatesmaynotcorrelatebestwithvisualjudgmentsofthecolor.Measurementwithspecularexcludedmayleadtobettercorrelations.5.2.2.3Forthemeasurementofplane-surface,low-gloss(matte)specimens,thespecularcomponentmayeitherbeexcludedorincluded,asnosignificantdifferenceintheresultsshouldbeapparent.Anestimateofglossmaybeobtainedbymeasuringthereflectionbothwiththespecularcomponentofreflectionincludedandexcluded,andthencalculatingthedifferencebetweenthetwomeasurementsatseveralwavelengthsacrossthevisiblespectrum,asdescribedin10.2.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestheinstrumentalmeasurementofthereflectionpropertiesandcolorofceramicglazesandotherwhitewaresbytheuseofaspectrophotometerorspectrocolorimeterwithahemisphericalopticalmeasuringsystem,suchasanintegratingsphere.1.2Thetestmethodissuitableforusewithmostspecimenshavinganexteriorflatsurfacelargeenoughtocoverthespectrophotometersampleport.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
