【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcovershot-finishedorcold-finishedprecipitationhardeningironbasesuperalloybars,forgings,andforgingstockforhigh-temperatureservice.Themechanicalpropertiesofthesealloysaredevelopedbysuitablesolutiontreatingandprecipitationhardeningtreatments.1.2Twogradesofironbasealloyarecovered.Selectionwilldependupondesign,serviceconditions,mechanicalproperties,andelevatedtemperaturecharacteristics.1.3Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSI(metric)unitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandards;withinthetextandtables,theSIunitsareshownin[brackets].Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.4Unlesstheorderspecifiesanx201C;Mx201D;designation,thematerialshallbefurnishedtoinch-poundunits.
